The wedding of one of the main fashionistas of the world took place on the island of Capri
Stylist and fashion editor of the magazine W Magazine and Vogue Japan in a mind-blowing wedding dress by Alexander McQueen married a Swedish realtor Oscar Englebert.
This weekend the fashionistas gathered on the island of Capri where luxury wedding of stylist and editor, Giovanna Battaglia and Swedish estate agent Oscar Englebert took place.
The wedding was celebrated in three stages.
First on the Caffe Caso terrace restaurant with bride in fluffy dress by Azzedine Alaia dancing under the Italian disco.
The next day - on the cape Punta Karen, where the couple said "yes" and kissed in the rain of rose petals (bride wore dress by Alexander McQueen, and guests were hiding away from the bright sun under lace umbrellas).
A three-day Marathon was finished by Extravaganza wedding party on a Love boat in the best traditions of Federico Fellini. Under volleys of salute Giovanna in the brilliant mini by Prada with her friends watched the sun rise and danced to peppy jazz.
However, the holiday would not have happened without star guests from different parts of the world. For example, a loyal friend Derek Blasberg picked Dasha Zhukova up from the opening of the exhibition of Urs Fischer in the "Garage" and immediately went on Capri. Model Bianca Brandolini, a jeweler and founder Eugenie Niarchos and net-a-porter founder Natalie Massenet had to overcome much less difficulties: just to get on a boat from the small port in Naples. Guests tried seven-tiered wedding cake and took a photo with the hashtag #gioandoscar.
Leaving home, guests shared the view that wedding season has just begun, but the main wedding of summer is already over.
