Kate Moss explained why she stood up for Johnny Depp: "I had to tell the truth"

Kate Moss told BBC Radio 4 why she stood up for Johnny Depp during his lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard. She noted that she "knows the truth", and therefore could not remain silent.

I believe in the truth, I believe in honesty and justice. I know the truth about Johnny. I know he never pushed me down the stairs. I had to tell the truth.

Her testimony in favor of Depp contributed to his victory over Heard.

Kate Moss also spoke about her emotions during the drug scandal in 2005 and admitted that it made her very angry.

I felt bad, I was very angry, because everyone I knew took drugs. Therefore, the fact that everyone focused on me and tried to take my daughter away, I consider it a real hypocrisy.

Although Moss managed to keep her daughter, she lost many lucrative contracts and was forced to publicly apologize.

I had to apologize in order for people to respect me.

She also remembered the difficulties at the beginning of her career: at the age of 15, the future star was embarrassed by her body, and frank shooting was difficult for her. The supermodel admitted that she had a "terrible experience" when she was asked to take off her bra on set.
