The eighth part of "Elki" was released in theaters in December 2021. This time the movie became available also in Norway. Local media drew attention to the poster of the picture - it very much resembles the work of the Norwegian photographer Stig Havard Dirdal, which he made back in 2015.

COMPARISON OF THE WORK OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND THE POSTER "Elki 8"

The author also saw a suspicious similarity and accused the filmmakers of plagiarism. He noted that they did not even begin to change the color of the Christmas tree decorations. Dirdal said that he was very flattered - yes, his work was stolen, but this means that it was appreciated. The photographer also doubts that he will be able to do something, because the copyright law was not violated in his country.

The filmmakers have yet to comment on the situation.
