The singer addressed fans on his social media, stating that he has "reached his limit" ?

Shawn Mendes has suspended his world tour. On Friday, the 23-year-old singer took to his social media to take a break and devote more time to his mental health. The tour began on June 27 and was scheduled to take place in the US, Europe and Canada. But it looks like the fans will have to wait a bit: Sean's appeal clearly indicates that the singer needs to take a break ?.

Shawn Mendes social media post

This breaks my heart, but unfortunately I will have to postpone the next three weeks of playing in Uncasville, Connecticut for a while. I've been touring since I was 15 and to be honest, it's always been hard to be on the road away from friends and family. After a few years without touring, I felt ready to dive into it all again, but the decision was premature and unfortunately the road and pressure caught up with me and I reached my limit. After speaking with my team and healthcare professionals, I realized that I needed some time to heal and take care of myself and my mental health. As soon as there is news, I promise I will let you know I love you guys. We sincerely hope that everything will be fine with Sean, and his fans will receive new content as soon as possible!
