Pete Doherty, 42, married his sweetheart and bandmate Puta Madres Katia de Vidas two days after the official announcement of the engagement .

The private ceremony took place at the Domaine Saint Clair in the French city of Etretat, where they have lived together for the past three years. The first photo from the celebration was shared by the guest of the event. Rocker dressed in a dark suit and tie, and the bride was in a short tulle wedding dress and a veil with stars. The wedding was attended by Doherty's parents - father Peter and mother Jacqueline, as well as his sister Amy.

Domaine Saint Clair is located within the walls of a 19th-century Anglo-Norman castle, just 550 meters from the beach. It features a heated outdoor pool, library and patio with a wood-burning stove.
