Two-time world champion in women's figure skating Yevgenia Medvedeva named five interesting facts about herself, posting them on January 23 on the official page of the Olympic channel on Twitter.

Earlier, in December 2020, 16-year-old figure skater Anna Shcherbakova became the Russian figure skating champion for the third time. The second place was taken by 14-year-old Kamila Valieva, 16-year-old Alexandra Trusova closed the top three.

Mikhail Kolyada became the winner of the Russian Figure Skating Championship among men. According to the results of the short and free programs, the skater scored 296.15 points.
