Sofia Rotaru's hotel is no longer functioning
The Crimean hotel Villa Sofia of the Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru has not been functioning for a long time.
Neither the artist herself nor her relatives have been seen there for over a year. The hotel probably failed the quarantine test. The hotel of the Ukrainian artist Sofia Rotaru, which is located in Crimea, has closed its doors to guests. Hotel and restaurant Villa Sofia on the Yalta embankment did not open in the starting tourist season. This is reported by the Super.ru edition.
The official reason for the closure of the villa is reconstruction, but no renovation work is underway on the territory. Now the central gate of Villa Sofia has been rewound with wire, all rooms have closed windows and curtains, and all furniture has been removed from the restaurant on the summer terrace.
As it became known, after the occupation of Crimea, Rotaru and her relatives with Ukrainian citizenship became much more difficult to do business. Sofia Rotaru herself and her son Ruslan and his wife Svetlana have not been seen at the hotel for over a year.
Prior to this, the star family appeared there regularly.
Sofia Mikhailovna acquired the hotel in 2008. It was originally a mansion. The artist converted it into a hotel with 12 suites. Locals often saw various celebrities in Villa Sofia: colleagues from Rotaru's "workshop" loved to arrange star gatherings there.
Recall, as we reported earlier, Sophia's brother Rotaru, despite the wealth of his sister, earns his living by working in the field. Anatoly Mikhailovich works on a combine harvester.
