This year the brand Ilgiz F celebrates its 25th anniversary. A modest age for a jewelry factory, but over the years, a small workshop led by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov managed to achieve world recognition, and to the master - the title of one of the world's best enamelers. Ilgiz - the only one of the masters owns all the traditional and modern techniques of enamel and skillfully combines them in his works.
The Ilgiz F brand was founded in 1992 in Kazan and after the first successful experiments and victories of Ilgiz at international competitions it became possible to be based in the territory of the Kazan Kremlin. In 2011 and 2013, Ilgiz receives international recognition - the title of "Champion of Champions" at the International Jewelery Design Award. And 2016 was the year of recognition in Russia - a personal exhibition of Ilgiz Fazulzyanov was held in the Assumption Belfry of the Moscow Kremlin.
Specially for the 25th anniversary, a collection of enamel with transparent quartz, which serves as a magnifying glass, began to be created. The viewer can view a thin enamel picture through it.
"I always liked old carved buffets with doors that had glass windows. Through them you could see the treasures that the owners kept inside. There was something mystical and fantastic about this. And on the motives of these children's impressions, I decided to make a collection, where through a faceted quartz I show what I keep deep in myself, "- so Ilgiz himself explains the idea of the collection.
There are two themes - flowers and birds. How many items will be in the collection is still unknown - within a year the collection will be replenished with new products. Basically it will be large bracelets and earrings of geometric shape. There is no single name for the collection, like the other Ilgiz F series, but there are names for each decoration - "Chips under the ice", "Freeze at the pond", "Swallows behind the glass". Each product took about two months of painstaking work.
