Continuing the popular My Burberry franchise, the luxury brand introduces a sensual, new addition and gorgeous, new face to the family
Black. The shade denotes mystery, intrigue and the romance of evening time. Shrouded in the eil of darkness, this latest My Burberry scent is still influenced by London, but this time it's a stormy evening in the famously rainy city that contrasts with a bouquet of captivating flowers. This latest scent from the range, created by Burberry's Christopher Bailey in collaboration with master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, plays on the sun-drenched jasmine, infusing it with peach nectar and a touch of rose. This time My Burberry's signature rose is candied, while amber patchouli gives it a deep and sensual base. Think of it as the more intense, older sister to my Burberry EDP and EDT.
My Burberry Black
This is also the first time that Burberry is working with British actress Lily James — of Downton Abbey fame, for a campaign that was shot by Mario Testino. This is in keeping with the tradition of employing English faces to represent the heritage brand — previous faces included models Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. For this campaign James is dressed in a black trench coat, another Burberry signature, as she traverses a rain-soaked landscape, chic checked umbrella in tow. Being caught in the rain, has never looked so romantic or so good.
