There's no lack of creativity from Philippe Starck as he unveils his latest work in the olfactory department. The eau de toilettes named Peau de Soie, Peau de Pierre and Peau d'Ailleurs are created based on the French designer's childhood memories. He envisioned his mother's perfume shop and the distinctive scents present there.

"I loved to take refuge in this place," he enthused. "Because of the aromas, the exponential sum of the perfumes, beauty creams, lotions and shampoos, I travelled through an unchartered territory filled with incredible riches."

"What I did not know at the time was that I was growing up inside the most powerful vehicle for the mind and the unconscious."

To create the Starck Paris fragrances, he worked alongside his wife and three master perfumers. As with any Stark design, the packaging is kept at a minimal to focus on what's really important—the scent. Stark Paris is launching internationally in September 2016.
