Alina Baykova, who lives in New York, said she is going to run for President when she will be 40 years old.
“We have a mess in the country. This should settle everything. As I told some friends, I will be the president of Ukraine, when I'm 40 years old. I promise you. Because it's not normal. If somebody does not provide a clear vision of its future by then, I will not miss this opportunity.
We believe in everyone whom we choose, we have democracy in the country. But our democracy is wrong. I can see exactly what we need to change in the Ukraine. We have the potential to be a good country. We are Europe, we need to be friends with everyone. War should not exist in the world”, - said the well-known model in the program "High Life" on the Ukrainian channel TSN.
Model of Ukrainian origin - brunette with Slavic face Alina Baykova made her debut as a model at the fashion week in New York in autumn 2010. This success has become a turning point in model's career. She participated in multiple fashion shows, including Badgley Mischka, Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Elise Overland, Francesco Scognamiglio, Giambattista Valli, Gianfranco Ferre and Hermes.
In 2011 photo of Alina Baykova graced the cover of Vogue Australia. Alina signed contracts with modeling agencies Premier Model Management, Fashion Model Management (Italy), Management (France).
For the July 2013 issue of Elle Russia Ukrainian beauty Alina Baikova posed in a Californian desert wearing safari-inspired looks. Animal prints, lots of leather and… a sweater. Fans of Alina got kind of enchanted with the vibe, that, despite of the photoshoot taking place in the US, felt so international.
Recently, she became the new star of the Marcus Ohlsson advertising for NK Future Classics Campaign. In the photo session titled "Future Classics" the girl showed the wonders of theatrical skill. Who knows, maybe soon she will become the finest actress. But according to Alina, in her own mind she is destined for the political stage.
Alina is in demand, but often comes home to Kirovograd. In Kirovograd there's a school for orphans, supported by Baykova. "Children are given a piece of toilet paper, a certain amount of toothpaste - worried Alina. – My heart is broken. There are a lot of such subtle yet important things! Recently we some boys went up to model and shyly asked for “some nice clothes, T-shirts and jeans”, so that they could approach the good girls, because they didn’t like the way they dressed”.
"It sounds very touching. But it is very painful, - says Alina. - I go to Africa, to India, and has not done anything for my country. I have many ideas. I come to the city and say, "I want to be a mayor." I can make a good road, beach and build all. I travel a lot and know how to do everything well, we just have a lot of corruption. Now I want to spend more time in Ukraine and something to help. Because of the 7 billion people only 100 thousand can help. Including I".
