Last weekend, 36-year-old model Lara Stone married her lover, 37-year-old David Grivson. The ceremony was private, so reporters could not get into the event, but Lara herself shared the news today on her blog.

Stone met David, who works in high-end real estate, in 2018 on the Tinder app, and in early 2020 they announced their engagement, but due to the pandemic, the wedding plans had to be slightly moved.  At the church, Lara wore a tight-fitting lace dress from London-based brand Tephi, which specializes in bridal and evening fashion. The ceremony itself took place in Hungerford, Berkshire, England.

For Lara, this marriage was the second. In 2010, she married actor David Walliams. The marriage lasted five years, the ex-spouses have a common child - son Alfred, who was born in 2013.

In the comments, Lara has already been congratulated by many of her colleagues from the fashion world , including Natasha Poli, Mariacarla Boscono, Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss and others.

Stone is one of the most striking models of the late 2000s and 2010s. She made her debut in 2006 and quickly achieved contracts with leading brands, including Calvin Klein and Prada. She also appeared on shows for Isabel Marant, Christopher Kane, Fendi, Max Mara, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Givenchy, Balmain and others. Lara's success has spawned a new trend in the fashion world. Models of her type began to be in high demand then: blondes with plump lips and a small gap (although initially Stone's appearance was criticized). Stone herself was on the list of the highest paid models of that era.
