For the first time, model Ireland Baldwin spoke about her struggle with anorexia in 2018. She admitted that her eating disorder began due to hateful comments on social networks that brought her to a nervous breakdown. But all this is behind, now the star lives a normal life and recalls this experience as a passed stage. Over the weekend, she celebrated an important date for herself - six years since she overcame anorexia and bulimia.

On Saturday, she posted a video to Instagram sharing the happy news and inspired fans who also struggle with the disorder to keep doing so. Today, August 15th, marks six years since I became free from anorexia, bulimia, and all the other eating disorders that I have struggled with for years. You can do it too Ireland, 24, said.

In the comments, in addition to the numerous fans of the star, her cousin Hailey Baldwin was also noted, who confessed her love to her sister.

Speaking about the struggle with anorexia, Ireland admitted that after the next meal she took digestive pills every time or simply ran to exhaustion on the treadmill until she literally stopped feeling her legs. Looking back now, Baldwin says it took her a long time to love and accept herself. The star actively encourages others to do the same. Love yourself! You are beautiful! Enjoy your food. Eat ice cream with your friends! Exercise and eat healthy, take care of your mind and body and find your healthy balance! Life is too short, she says.
