A tree in a house without walls: visiting Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Last year, the couple finally moved into a new house they had been building for a long time. The area of the estate is 24 thousand square meters, so there is where to swing.

In addition to the main house, there is also a guest house, as well as recreation and barbecue areas. The main building is built in a farmhouse style, and helps to merge with nature (in some parts, for example, glass walls). Architectural Digest looked into the actors' domain .

The couple's home is eco-friendly – it's built from wood (including recycled wood) and sits on top of a hill near Los Angeles. Electricity for the house is generated in it - thanks to photovoltaic batteries, which are hidden under the veranda.

Curiously, the pair scoured Pinterest for inspiration, and each created boards with interiors they liked. Later, the actors admitted that their selections matched 90 percent.

“We wanted the house to look like an old barn that had been there for decades and then turned into a home. At the same time, it had to be modern and comfortable for life,” Kutcher said.

To be honest, the house hardly looks like a barn: for example, part of the walls are replaced by windows several stories high. Through them you can see a glass chandelier three meters high.

“We thought it would be fun to hang such a luxurious thing in the barn, and thereby add a touch of humor to the interior,” shared Mila Kunis..
