The artist's colorful backgrounds have provided bountiful inspiration for the storied French fashion house.

It has long been known that Russian Sasha Pivovarova is not only a top model, but also an artist. It was with this theme that her return to the catwalk was connected after a break that happened last fall - at the Dior show, Sasha walked down the catwalk in a vest with the feminist inscription “Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists” .

On the eve of the 33-year-old supermodel appeared at the presentation of the spring-summer Dior collection, which took place before the official shows at New York Fashion Week. Sasha created paintings and art objects that adorned the hall. Her followers saw the drawings a few days ago.

A snapshot of the striking installations created by Sasha was shared by the top model from Omsk Vlada Roslyakova, who is now also in New York. Vlada noted that her friend is a real artist, and she is very proud of her.

By the way, the Dior Spring-Summer 2018 collection is dedicated to Niki de Saint Phalle, a Parisian model of the mid-twentieth century who became an artist. Perhaps that is why the fashion house entrusted the modern artist-model Sasha Pivovarova with the main role in the presentation of this collection.

40 of her works made a creative background for the demonstration of models. Sasha herself that evening was dressed in a silver mini-dress, which was complemented by a translucent evening skirt, decorated with mirror elements. On the feet of the model were the original translucent lace-up boots. The look was completed with a black belt and a -colored small handbag on a chain.
