Millie has now opened up about why she is now avoiding social media altogether, and explained how hard it is to be the target of a hate as a teenager.

Speaking to Allure, the girl explained, "It's really hard to be hated when you don't know who you are yet. So it's like, "What do they hate about me? Because I don't know who I am." It's almost like, "Okay, I'm going to try and be like this today." [And then they say] "Oh no, I hate it." "Good. Forget about it. Today I will try to be like that.” "Oh my goodness! I hate it when you do that."

The girl also said that such an attitude towards herself literally “cuts down” and confuses. Then Millie realized that "understanding yourself" helps not to care so much about what strangers think.

The actress ended up like this. “I just have to develop within myself. And that's it." Today, the Eleven performer communicates with fans through her Florence by Mills website, celebrating the fact that it has “comments turned off.”
