There is a term nepo babies . These are the children of celebrities who have succeeded with the support of famous parents. The daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis was also referred to as such more than once. The girl herself categorically disagrees with this.

Some admire how Lily-Rose Depp manages to combine the careers of an actress, model and singer. But envious people accuse the young star of undeserved popularity.

“I find it strange when someone is downgraded just because of their origins. If someone's mom or dad is a doctor and their child also becomes a doctor, you wouldn't say that this person was successful just because of his parents, would you? No, he graduated from medical school and studied hard.” Lily said.

In a recent interview, she said that she is wary of such a phenomenon.

“I feel like my parents did everything they could to give me a ‘normal childhood. And obviously they didn't succeed." Depp shared .

Lily also added that she suffered from paranoia due to the popularity of her mother and father. According to her, she always thought about how she should look when leaving the house.

After all, the paparazzi could catch her in a terrible form. In addition, the actress denies that she got the role in the "Idol" mini-series only thanks to her last name, and believes that most of the credit belongs to her.

“I have enough privileges to do the work I love. There are good and bad sides to everything. But no one will help you get a role if you are not suitable for it. You may be able to get in through the door, but the main work will be waiting inside.” says the celebrity. By the way, her project partner, The Weeknd , did not like that the plot is focused on the heroine Depp. And now they are trying to finalize it in order to correct this “misunderstanding”.
