The lovers tied the knot last month.

Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer married actor David Oakes. The relationship of the stars first became known in 2018. On the eve of the media appeared information that Dormer and Oakes tied the knot last month. The newlyweds got married in Bruton, Somerset. They then held a modest wedding celebration at a nearby restaurant.

Natalie and David had a quiet wedding. They did not want to arrange a big holiday, although, of course, this day was bright and memorable. They just wanted to share this moment with a select group of people, because they are introverted natures. But it was a beautiful ceremony,” shared the insider.

An acquaintance of the stars also said that the actors treated the guests to red wine and a three-course dinner. A few weeks ago, the artist's husband posted a picture of the church, located in the same places where the couple got married.

The couple had a daughter in 2021 . Natalie jokes that the pandemic contributed to her decision to become a mom. Prior to starting a relationship, Natalie knew the actor and star of such TV shows as "Borgia" and "Victoria", David Oakes, for several years. In the fall of 2017, they played together in the ironic (and rather piquant) performance Venus in Furs, based on the play by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. At that time, the actress was in a relationship with director and screenwriter Anthony Byrne, and they were even going to get married. However, a year later, in November 2018, Natalie and Anthony broke up after 11 years of relationship due to creative differences.
