Actor Danila Kozlovsky (31) has become the federal ambassador of the World Football Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018. Vice-premier of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Football Union (58), Vitaly Mutko handed him the certificate before a friendly match between the national team of Russia and the Ivory Coast team in Krasnodar.
"This is a great honor and responsibility for me", - said Kozlovsky. - And I am glad that I have the opportunity to be engaged in professional activities, to be involved in this epoch-making event, the upcoming World Cup in Russia".
Danila added that now football occupies a large part of his life: "As a producer and director, I shoot my first movie,"Coach", it's a story about a small team that will perform a miracle. The final stage of the film will be held at the "Krasnodar"stadium, so I am especially pleased to become the ambassador of the World Cup here. I'm looking forward to the Confederations Cup and, of course, the World Cup. This is an incredible event on a global scale, not to mention that it will be very interesting".
In addition to Kozolovsky, the list of ambassadors of 2018 FIFA World Cup includes: the best scorer in the history of Spartak football Nikita Simonyan, CSKA and Russian national team goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, pianist Denis Matsuev, showman Sergey Svetlakov, conductor Valery Gergiev and hockey player Alexander Ovechkin.
Recall, the World Cup matches will be held from 14 June to 15 July 2018 in 11 cities of Russia.
